2008 EDSA Wall of Fame Induction Dinner
The Edmonton and District Soccer Association's inaugural Wall of Fame Induction Dinner was held on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the Lodge at Snow Valley. Surrounded by family and friends four gentlemen were acknowledged for their incredible contributions to soccer in our community.
This year’s inductees not only share a passion for the game of soccer that has translated into great success for their teams, but they have taken that commitment and desire to see the game prosper in our city and moved it beyond the game itself. All four of these gentlemen have played key roles in developing facilities that have encouraged growth in participation and developed a higher standard of play throughout the Edmonton region.
Whether it be local, provincial or national successes, international tours or the development of world-class facilities, Hamish Black, Stuart Brown, Dieter Knobloch and Karl Weidle have been a bright light in the EDSA program and have set a standard for those involved in soccer across Canada.

If you would like to discuss nominations for the Wall of Fame please contact Susan at the EDSA office.
